Course Description
Churches are unique throughout the world in the application of ministry for Christ in various kinds of environments, yet each church shares essential and common core values which are imperative to the life and health of all churches in Christ. These common core values are hallmarks of all churches in any place, at any time in history, in any culture, and people. All the core values are founded on the Biblical truth that Christ loves the Church and thus all who love Christ are also to love the church and seek to fit in and belong to their particular church (Eph. 5:25-32). The purpose of this course, then, is to identify these core values and understand why they are important for the local church body in which students find themselves.
